I built Shiftaan because I needed it myself.
I was studying and working part-time for different companies. Keeping track of shifts, hours and expenses got harder every week, so I built a Google Sheet.
Every time something became difficult, I added another column. Then I realised other part-time workers had the same problem. That sheet became Shiftaan.
The name comes from Punjabi and relates to shifts. The idea is simple: you should always know what work you've done and what you're owed.
Malik Muzamil Founder, ShiftaanYour own clear record of your work.
Employers have systems for schedules and payroll. Workers still use Notes, WhatsApp and memory to understand their own hours.
Shiftaan fixes that gap with a personal tool that stays simple, even when you work for several employers and agencies. It started with security shifts and now works for every kind of shift work: care, the NHS, hospitality, retail, warehouses, delivery, events and cleaning.
Stop losing track of your shifts.
Keep every shift, every hour and every pound in one place.
